Is Arthur going to make a poem of all the answers he has gathered I wonder? It seems to me that he could write something that will not perhaps wake up Leon but wake his own senses, like a breath of spring?
I will be sad for this to end Mary, can we keep inventing more places to find poems maybe? xx
Thank you for introducing us to Jean Pierre Simeon. I didn't know his work. I've been researching him and came across a short poem he dedicated to his father, "Poème triste mais gai", which I'm thinking of attempting to translate into English.
Rosa, I love what Jean Pierre Siméon, the French poet who wrote this book for Arthur about poetry, has done--as I come to a close for this series. I tried to get Arthur and his fish Leon here on my stationery--wishing and learning!
Ah, Mary, I tried to give support and comfort and a smile while my granddaughter enjoyed sleep-away camp! I treasure these small moments of snail mail, so rare these days!
Now, a cliffhanger! I will stay tuned...
You will be surprised!
Such a fun adventure this has been…I hope your granddaughter enjoyed it as much as we did! And I can’t wait to finally hear what Arthur learned!
It's a grand surprise. You will love it!

Oh, lovely, Ollie. I want to read that translation. Please post it here!
Thanks Mary… I will! 😊
I have to revisit this piece. Trying to figure out what it is that’s preoccupying Arthur.
You will figure it out because this poet is amazing--and you'll love the closing that's on it way, lovely So Elite!
Ok… Feel like Bambi on the ice with this one. Thank you for the reassurance! Waiting patiently! Thank you🙏
You're adorable!
Talking to sleeping fish...seems like a self-revelation coming
You bet! Don't we love this book by French poet Jean Pierre Simeon!
I like the combination of coral and turquoise colours.

You’ve done so and provided some food for thought for us in the process.
What a magical world you’re creating, Mary! Blessings to you and your sweet granddaughter. xoxo
