I adore Mary. I was drawn to her from the moment I met her on a zoom call with a panel of a dozen other women. Thanks for sharing with us Isabelle. Your talent of writing is apparent and you had the best of the best mentoring you. Wow!!! What a great combo. 💪👊❤️

That is so kind Debbie. I adore you too. All should know this woman met me virtually and then came to LA and me me -- and she has a fab show. Debbie, you should do a guest post for me about your show!

So inspiring. What a great post Isabelle. I relate to much of your experience, having had the great pleasure and privilege to work with Mary as well. I was thinking about something earlier, how if we grow up in families who did not reflect back to us our passions and gifts at an earlier age, we may still get lucky to find someone else, a teacher or professor like Mary, who reflects to us our possibility. Mary did that for me and for you as well. A true action of love for people and art. Congratulations on your novel - Jeanne The Woman in Red - Isabelle. Sounds incredibly interesting. I hope to get a copy and read it soon.

So true. I'm grateful Mary came into our lives.

I remember your beautiful work and would love to have everything you publish on my shelf. You're such a talented writer.

Oh, Krista, it was an inspiration to work with you as teacher and colleague. That is the gift of teaching: to learn.

My hat is off to both of you (when I wear one). Isabelle's commentary on her experience with the written word, and how Mary has helped her improve, is motivating to others swimming the same currents toward publication. Fictionalizing one's memoirs is another avenue I have driven on and consider driving again. Thanks to both of you for giving me motivation to continue with my written words.
