thats ridiculous btw that gosling clip is that kirsten dunst god i love her especially in 'Wimbledon" he and emma stone did a great bit in another comedy where they re-do the scene from dirty dancing and another actress playing a mom accuses a 13 yr old kid bullying her daughter of looking like tom petty ohh god great flik
I’ve been reading your memoir this morning, trying to catch up from where I left off. I do so like it. One never thinks about starting over again once they hit a certain age. What will life look like? We have a few friends that have become widowed, (I know it’s not the same), and the starting over again is hard at any age. But starting over again after divorcing is going to be hard, especially if the other half remarries. Oh, so many things, and you tackle them effortlessly.
Definitions are not my strong suit.
you do have a great sense of humor truly
That encourages me because I worry that and I often say that I'm accidentally funny.

So, on the mark, Ben, and so glad to have you back reading as I write and live this--and with such a smart comment and so generous about the writing.
Neitzche and Harry are right: sex is a place to visit, not live.
Nietzsche is right --not so sure about Harry in _When Harry Met Sally_ --but then that is the arc of the rom-com, right? Anyway, we agree.
Indeed, Bill about Nietzsche-- not so sure about Harry in _When Harry Met Sally_ --but then that is the arc of the flick, isn't it?
Nietzsche is right about marriage.
I so agree. xo
"It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages."
How true. All the elements of friendship, I think ,should make the basis of marriage.
Open heart is you sharing, Mary, through beautiful writing and the universal themes of love and friendship.
Such an eloquent and generous comment. I thank you from my heart. Love, Mary
