Great piece .... and I mean the writing. Gorgeous ... and I mean the writing. Gobsmacked by you ... and I mean the writing. Admiring what I see here ... and I mean the writing too. If you were in my neighbourhood I'd want to walk a well-worn path to your door ... you know, to see more of the writing. Don't worry, I'm not blind .... not yet anyway notwithstanding all those lectures, I will not stop, but I would pause for you .... and I mean for the writing. I didn't know anyone (other than me) thought I had a funny bone.
I think Mary is a lovely writer - and my sense is that I would be bowled-over in person if I was to meet her, but doing long-distance thinking requires a long-distance wallet for which I have 'high hopes' and a lottery ticket!
